He was recently President and CEO of Hong Kong listed AcrossAsia Multimedia Limited and founding CEO of the Provisional Hong Kong Science Park. Mr. Cheng’s career includes managing, as COO, Philips Electronics’ business in China and Taiwan, head of telecommunications in Taiwan for ITT and earlier at Bell Labs. Mr. Cheng received his BS in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University and MS and PhD from Iowa State University.
