David started his finance career in China in 1979, and has held executive positions with government bodies, major global financial institutions, and private family groups in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and China. David’s most recent positions include Director, Global Investments at Alliance Capital Hong Kong, and Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer with AXA Investment Managers, Hong Kong. David is a CPA in Australia and a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. He currently serves as a committee member of the Practitioners Group for FTSE Asia Indices and FTSE/Hang Seng Indices. David received his MBA from the University of Chicago, Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University, Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma in Risk Management from Hong Kong University.
