He is currently a member of the board of directors of, among other companies, Samsung Electronics, Eastern Pacific Circuits, a circuit board manufacturer, and Keppel T&T, a telecommunications and shipping company. Previously, he was the President for the Asia-Pacific region of Dell Computer, Senior Vice President, General Electric Co., and President of GE Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. He was responsible for GE's Asia-Pacific region encompassing 11 businesses with sales approaching $10 billion. He joined GE in 1992 as president and CEO of GE Medical Systems Asia based in Tokyo. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Malm was deputy group managing director of SKF, a Swedish multinational company and a world leader in automotive and industrial bearings.
